SafetyStories – from trauma to safety
315.00 kr
“If someone could have come to help you, who would have come? What would they have done and said? How would it have felt in your body?”
These three questions are at the heart of SafetyStories – a trauma recovery method developed by Ulrika Ernvik.
The method of SafetyStories is based on research that has emerged over the past thirty years, particularly in interpersonal neurobiology and memory research. Through safety, movement, visualization and stories, changes can take place within us and between us that lead from trauma to safety.
SafetyStories can be offered both in the counseling room and in the living room, by professionals and by parents or friends, in the moment or many years after a traumatizing experience. Through SafetyStories, both adults and children can find the joy and strength that gives them the courage to live life fully again.
SafetyStories – from trauma to safety
presents a clear ten-step manual along with research that forms the basis of the method. The book can be read by those who want to support the traumatized person as well as by the traumatized persons themselves.
